The Kansas City Chiefs have relied on rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy more than they had planned to when they selected him with the No. 27 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft last April.
There’s also holding on a Bills’ defender during the play, so if it’s called a catch the penalty adds onto it and the Chiefs would get the ball inside the five. The referees called it a catch, and Bills’ head coach Sean McDermott challenges the review.
A lot to unpack here. Damar Hamlin called for a hold on Kelce. Then Bishop and Worthy both go up for a 50/50 ball and the refs give the catch to Worthy. Bills have challenged the call pic.twitter.com/O2rsdVEMdt
