Netflix ‘s coverage of the the boxing faceoff between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano was a huge hit, with the streamer proclaiming it the “most-watched professional women’s sports event in US history.

The boxers have agreed to a rematch – part of a historic trilogy between the two – on Friday July 11 live on Netflix.

Their second match in November drew an average of 74 million viewers and claimed the title of the most-watched women’s sporting event.

Netflix is getting back in the ring this summer. The streamer will air the third matchup between super lightweight champion Katie Taylor and featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano on July 11.

Irish star Katie Taylor and Puerto Rican counterpart Amanda Serrano will have their third fight on Friday, July 11, back at Madison Square Garden and on Netflix.

The two boxers previously went head-to-head on Netflix in the leadup to the boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul last November, which ended with Taylor’s controversial win. For their third fight, the pair will headline an all-women’s card at Madison Square Garden.

The trilogy is now slated for its own Netflix main event - Taylor and Serrano collide for the undisputed super lightweight championship on Friday, July 11th in Madison Square Garden. Taylor vs. Serrano 3 headlines an all-women pro boxing card, the first of its kind.
