The relationship between Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts has reportedly improved since ESPN reported in August
Saquon Barkley set a franchise record with 255 yards rushing in Philadelphia’s 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 24 and had touchdown runs of 70 and 72 yards.

The Eagles have gone 14-3 in both 2022 and this season, tying the best regular-season records in franchise history. Hurts as the starter was 14-1 in 2022, when he led the Eagles to the Super Bowl and was the best player on the field in the Eagles' 38-35 loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl with 304 yards passing and 70 yards rushing.
While it would have been bittersweet, Victor Cruz wanted Eagles star Saquon Barkley to break the rushing record against the Giants.
The Eagles won easily because they dominated the turnover battle, but there were a few issues during their wild-card win over the Packers.
“It wasn’t tempting,” Barkley said after Sunday’s 22-10 win over the Packers. “Situational football. No mas. It’s first down, you win the game. Get the first down, get down. Don’t matter.”
Following their Wild Card win over the Packers, Eagles HC Nick Sirianni gave his praise to RB Saquon Barkley for his selflessness.
Saquon Barkley had the opportunity to punctuate the Eagles' wild-card win over the Packers with a long TD run late in the fourth quarter, but the running back decided that was enough once getting past the first-down marker.
Saquon Barkley doesn't care about his stats—he cares about his team winning. We know that based on his reaction to being told by head coach Nick Sirianni that he'd be sitting to close out the regular season and he wouldn't be breaking Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record.
