People living in flood-prone areas along parts of the East Coast were told to be ready to act if flooding intensifies.

In the wake of the tragic June 14 floods, people are wondering why sirens were not being sounded. 7News has learned there are no sirens in Ohio County. Officials say there were air raid sirens in the 50s and 60s,
"The Flash Flood Watch will expire for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Lancaster and York. The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch will expire at 11 p.m. this evening," according to the National Weather Service.
A flood advisory was released by the NWS Raleigh NC on Wednesday at 5:49 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for Forsyth and Guilford counties.
The Village of Ruidoso confirmed three deaths Wednesday morning: a man and two children, ages 7 and 4, according to a press release from Kerry Gladden, spokesperson for the Village of Ruidoso.
