Some excellent enhancements make this the ultimate version of Dragon Quest III, but it could still do more to make it wholly welcoming to newcomers.

For gamers young and old, returning to games made decades ago poses a unique challenge: to appreciate dated graphics and archaic gameplay with modern eyes.
