The Lions’ win solidified them at the top of the conference and they have a half-game lead over the upstart Washington Commanders.

After NFL Week 9, that title belongs to the NFC West, where just one game separates all four teams. Several NFL division races could come down to the wire, but the NFC West is the only one where all four teams still appear to have a legitimate chance of winning.
