At least one new Kia EV model will be revealed at next week’s LA Auto Show. Kia is teasing the new EV ahead of the event, claiming it wants to make “it very clear” that the company is charging ahead in the US. After shattering its October US sales record last month, Kia said new models are “generating significant foot traffic” into showrooms.

The 2025 Kia EV6 has just revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, complete with a boatload of updates. Among the design tweaks and tech add-ons coming to all models, however, the sporty GT model also gains a few features from Road & Track ’s 2025 Performance EV of the Year under $100,000, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Things improve greatly inside the Tasman, where Kia's now-ubiquitous dual 12.3-inch displays cap a clean and muscular dashboard design incorporating elegant toggle switches. Everything inside is rectilinear and simple, and manages to appear both trucky and high-end.

Kia America has introduced the 2026 Kia EV9 GT at the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show. This high-performance version of Kia's three-row electric SUV features dual electric motors providing an estimated 501 horsepower and achieving a targeted 0-60 mph time of 4.
