Ole Miss fans were so excited and so unused to handling a win that was seconds away from completion, they rushed the field too early.  The early rush with 16 seconds still left in the game evoked a NSFW reaction from head coach Lane Kiffin but it's hard to blame Ole Miss fans for wanting to start the party early.

It also provided some historical significance, however. Saturday marked Ole Miss' first win over a top-five opponent since 2015 (at Alabama), and the Rebels joined Alabama as the only team to defeat Georgia since 2021. The last non-Alabama team to take down the Dawgs before this weekend was Florida in 2020.

No. 16 Ole Miss upset No. 3 Georgia on Saturday in a game that started with an early Jaxson Dart interception and Bulldog touchdown then things radically changed. The Rebels (8-2, 4-2 SEC) dominated from there on out to win one of the biggest games in program history,
