Walmart is rolling back its diversity, equity and inclusion policies, joining a growing list of major corporations that have done the same after coming under attack by conservative activists.

Walmart, the latest US company to back down on DEI, said it was shutting down its nonprofit Center for Racial Equity, among other changes.

The retailing giant became the biggest employer yet to back away from diversity and inclusion commitments following a conservative pressure campaign.
