Organizers announced this week that the 2025 Cortana Kiwanis Baton Rouge Christmas Parade is canceled.

The parade, which raises money for local children's charities, has been held in Baton Rouge for 74 years and regularly attracts crowds of over 75,000 people.

Organizers of the Rose City Christmas Parade, set for Dec. 4, released information Friday about the 2025 parade, including a new location and invitation for participants.
