With the highly-anticipated sequel in production, the Sandman’s swing looks crisp while traversing sand traps and several crew members to reprise his iconic role as the hockey goon turned golf pro.

Last week, on Sept. 9, Sandler, who is renowned for his laid back fashions, could be seen wearing a robe and sunglasses (over some sweats and sneakers, naturally) on the “Happy Gilmore 2″ set in South Orange. That day also happened to be his birthday — he’s 58.

Happy Gilmore 2 may be a completely different movie than the original and that's a positive because it means it won't just be a simple rehash.

Happy Gilmore 2 will be live on Netflix as the streamer announced the project back in May 2024 with a social media post. “Happy Gilmore is back!
