Quinn Ewers' season didn't end with a national title as Texas fell to Ohio State in a CFP semifinal matchup Friday night, but he will go down as a central figure in helping Steve Sarkisian rebuild a program into a contender.

The Quinn Ewers era at Texas is most certainly over. Before the Cotton Bowl, Ewers told ESPN that he was going to enter the draft. There have also been rumors of a hefty NIL deal waiting for the Southlake Carroll product if he transfers.

The Carroll grad nearly led Texas to the national title, but his career at Texas will be remembered as “Almost.”
