The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds residents they can bring home a tree from one of the state’s northern forests for the holidays. According to a press release from the DNR,

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is offering people an affordable way to get a Christmas tree. Trees can be cut down in the Brule River, Flambeau River, Governor Earl Peshtigo River, Governor Knowles and Northern Highland-American Legion state forests.
