A ceasefire deal that could end more than a year of cross-border fighting between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group won backing from Israeli leaders.

Hezbollah launched numerous attacks on Israel on November 24 from the morning until the evening. The attacks included the use of long-range rockets targeting central Israel, and drones and shorter-range rockets targeting northern Israel.

Hezbollah fired about 250 rockets and other projectiles into Israel on Sunday, wounding seven people in one of the militant group’s heaviest barrages in months, in response to deadly Israeli strikes in Beirut while negotiators pressed on with cease-fire efforts to halt the all-out war.
