The latest chapter in the Karen Read saga moves to the state’s highest court, where her attorneys are hoping to convince judges that several charges related to the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend should be dropped.

The state’s high court had some hard questions for Karen Read’s legal team as it argued to have the murder charge tossed in her pending retrial on the basis of an undeclared not guilty verdict they say was reached behind closed doors.
