The Boston Bruins secured an impressive 6-3 win over the New York Islanders on Wednesday night (Nov. 28). While the Bruins picked up two points, Islanders forward Brock Nelson certainly did not make it easy for them.

After dropping Wednesday’s game to the Bruins, the Islanders have lost two of three on a homestand which looked like a chance to turn things around.

But Nelson tied the game again. In the last minute of the second period, the Bruins missed two chances to clear the puck out of the zone and the Islanders took advantage as Nelson beat Joonas Korpisalo with 8 seconds left in the period to make it 3-3 going into period No. 3.
