Jamie Oliver has withdrawn his latest children’s book, "Billy and the Epic Escape," following a wave of criticism.

First Nation Australians said Billy and the Epic Escape contained "damaging stereotypes of indigenous children."

Jamie Oliver’s publishers have pulled his latest children’s book, after it was criticised for ‘stereotyping’ Indigenous Australians. Billy and the Epic Escape, a fantasy novel written by the chef, is set in England but a brief plot sees the novel’s villain kidnap a First Nations girl who was living in a camp for indigenous people.
