Neal Brown knew the Texas Tech football offense was going to be too much for West Virginia to handle before the game even began.

LUBBOCK, Texas — Tahj Brooks ran for a season-high 188 yards and three touchdowns in the final home game for Texas Tech’s all-time leading rusher, and the Red Raiders rolled to a 52-15 victory over West Virginia on Saturday.

West Virginia fired football coach Neal Brown on Sunday after the conclusion of the 2024 season, which ended with the Mountaineers losing 52–15 to Texas Tech on Saturday, Yahoo! Sports' Ross Dellenger reported.
