The Wall that Heals opening ceremony honors Vietnam Veterans
Dozens of people came to the Callaway Recreational Complex on Thursday morning for the opening ceremony for “The Wall that Heals”. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall arrived in Bay County on Tuesday.
‘You’re seen, you’re honored, you’re appreciated’: Vietnam veterans commemorated at memorial in DC
“You’re seen, you’re honored, you’re appreciated,” Jeff Reinbold, superintendent of the National Mall and Memorial Parks, said to the more than 200 visitors at the start of the 90-minute ceremony at the memorial, the most visited war monument on the mall.
