I have to admit, this was a much better episode of Yellowjackets than I’ve come to expect from the show. The downward turn it took in Season 2 soured me to most of the characters and left a huge cloud of doubt hanging over everything.

In the third episode of this season of “Yellowjackets,” the Wilderness is playing mind games, but so are the girls. Which is worse? The fever dreams involving talking llamas and dangerous slap bracelets? Or the back-stabbing that comes with psychological manipulation? Honestly, it’s a toss up.

The Season 3 premiere of “Yellowjackets” hit just over 2 million viewers across Showtime and Paramount+ over the weekend. That puts it just above the Season 2 premiere, which reached nearly 2 million in 2023.
