The Bose SoundLink Home differs from the company's other SoundLink portable speakers. Thanks to a retro-inspired design, it looks way cooler.

Unlike Bose’s other SoundLink speakers, the SoundLink Home is intended as an app-free experience — just power up the speaker and pair it with your favorite smartphone. Actually, with Bluetooth Multipoint, you can pair it to two phones simultaneously — but you’ll have to referee the fights between the phone owners.

In its most stylish iteration yet, Bose just introduced the SoundLink Home, a Bluetooth speaker housed in an ultra-steel frame and overlayed with chic gray fabrics.

As the name suggests, the SoundLink Home is the home counterpart to the SoundLink Flex, which is designed to be taken on the go. This one is meant to live on your bookshelf and hopefully fill your room with its guaranteed premium sound.

The SoundLink Home includes support for Bluetooth 5.3 with a wireless range of about 30 feet, and it can be paired with other speakers in Bose’s SoundLink line for stereo sound. It lacks Wi-Fi, however,
