The Eaton and Palisades fires have consumed more than 37,000 acres of homes, businesses and landmarks in Altadena and Pacific Palisades.

Rain was falling across Southern California on Sunday, bringing some relief to thousands of firefighters who have been battling multiple major wildfires in the LA area.

A new wildfire was reported today at 12:06 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.
