New York doesn’t have to do anything between now and the trade deadline to reach its goals. The Knicks have been fine with the roster as is. With that said, the sense around the league is that the Knicks will do something minor in order to bolster their bench, whether sooner by getting a player back in a trade or later in the buyout market.

The New York Knicks need some additional front-court depth. Jericho Sims is a talented young big but would be a risk for a deep postseason run. Mitchell Robinson‘s injury history also leaves question marks lingering over his long-term viability.

The New York Knicks need plenty of frontcourt depth, and they will certainly be in the mix for some available bigs as the trade deadline approaches.
