The Hall’s offensive struggles continued in a dismal 63-51 loss to the Hawks at Prudential Center on Saturday afternoon. Monmouth sophomore guard Abdi Bashir, who gave Rutgers 38 in a recent loss, killed The Hall with 28 points and made 6-of-9 from deep.

Things are going from bad to worse for the Seton Hall Pirates. They lost for the second time in the last three games, suffering a 63-51 defeat at the hands of the Monmouth Hawks on Saturday.

Seton Hall (4-4) came in 15-0 all-time against the Hawks, a series that dates back to 1983. The Pirates have now lost three games to mid-majors and two of them were “buy” games at home – a first for the program since 2013-14.
