The family of Ajike Owens, the Ocala mother of four who was shot over a neighbor dispute in 2023, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Susan Lorincz on June 10, according to court documents.

The program is just underway as workers are currently installing dash cams into the first batch of Alachua County vehicles.

“Ajike doesn’t go for the door handle, doesn’t try to break into the room of Mrs. Lorincz, but yet there is still a gunshot that strikes un-armed Ajike Owens,” he said.
