USC Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley classified the team's upcoming matchup against the Michigan Wolverines as a "historic game."

Lincoln Riley already had a pretty solid breakdown of his expectations of USC's matchup against Michigan football on Monday during his appearance on Trojans Live, but he went much deeper on Tuesday evening.

It was already expected to be a big game, but it’s become bigger for both USC and Michigan football than previously envisioned. The Trojans are coming to Ann Arbor for just the second time and it’s the first time that USC is playing on Michigan’s campus since 1958.

The news that Michigan is switching quarterbacks was information that was welcomed with open arms by Lincoln Riley and USC.
