Captain Mark Stone’s tripping penalty on Dallas defenseman Miro Heiskanen at 7:56 of the third period was a chaotic moment that proved to be the turning point in the Knights’ 4-3 overtime loss Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena.

Miro Heiskanen was injured when Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone was tripped by Stars forward Roope Hintz and slid hard into Heiskanen's left leg midway through the third period. Heiskanen was slow to get up and had to be helped down the tunnel to the locker room. Stone was given a tripping penalty on the play.

Las Vegas’ Stone fell into Heiskanen’s left knee in an awkward collision, which forcing Dallas’ top defenseman out of the game.
