Harvard University ’s ability to receive federal student aid is at risk after the Trump Administration informed the higher education institution’s accreditor that the university acted in violation of federal antidiscrimination laws and may no longer meet accreditation standards.

The federal Department of Homeland Security has issued a court subpoena to Harvard for documents it requested in April, saying Harvard refused to cooperate.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Harvard of allowing "foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus."
