Jack Sawyer, an Ohio State defensive end, strip-sacked Ewers and returned the fumble for a decisive game-sealing touchdown in the Buckeyes’ 28-14 win.

Ewers dropped back to pass, but Ohio State’s Jack Sawyer made the play of the night. The senior defensive end blew past his man, strip-sacked Ewers, and scooped up the ball for an 83-yard touchdown, sealing the Buckeyes’ 28-14 victory.

The play—which sealed the 28–14 win for Ohio State and Sawyer said led Ewers to tell him "Screw you!" as the quarterback walked off the field—capped an unbelievable three-game run for Sawyer, and all but sent the Buckeyes to the national championship against Notre Dame on Jan. 20.

Not only did Sawyer knock the ball out, but he took it 83 yards for a touchdown to make it 28-14. After the game, Sawyer was asked about the moment between him and Ewers, and revealed that Ewers had a simple two-word message to him about the play.
