A new wildfire was reported today at 12:44 p.m. in Los Angeles County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

Note that full containment doesn't mean the fire is completely out. In this case, it means that firefighters have managed to get a line completely around the wildfire's perimeter and it is now stopped from spreading. A fully contained wildfire may continue to burn within the containment perimeter but is not likely to spread.
The Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to Wilmington after a tunnel collapsed and trapped at least 15 people inside.Authorities have not been able to contact the people trapped inside. The tunnel collapse appeared to damage communication lines.
The FBI offered a $50,000 reward for a person who appeared to point and fire a weapon at federal law enforcement officers in Southern California on Thursday.
