Police said a woman was arrested on the afternoon of July 13 after assaulting a man with a machete in southwestern Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls Police Department spokesman Aaron Benson said officers were called to a parking lot at about 4:11 p.m. in the 3500 block of South Larch Avenue for a report of a woman who was swinging a machete at a man.

Shakaira Twobulls, 25, of Sioux Falls, was reported to be swinging a machete at a male victim. A witness caught the incident on video, and Twobulls was later found and arrested on one count of Aggravated Assault Domestic. The victim received minor injuries to the left arm and did not need to go to the hospital.

The men were spotted ‘waving’ the weapon at drivers travelling down Agbrigg Road, on Friday evening. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are investigating a report of possession an offensive weapon which took place on Agbrigg Road, Wakefield, at around 6:20pm on Friday, July 11”.
