The Washington Commanders (7-4) host the Dallas Cowboys (3-7) in a battle of NFC East rivals heading in opposite directions. The game features a reunion of sorts for several Commanders going up against their former team.

They also brought in veteran Will Grier to be their third, emergency quarterback, but Dallas, along with the NFL's 31 other teams, has a shot to add a six-year NFL veteran with plenty of starting experience in quarterback Daniel Jones.

Dan Quinn spent three years as the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys. He rejuvenated his career with America’s Team before leaving to coach the Washington Commanders. In Week 12, they play one another for the first time with Quinn in his new role.

The team let both Dorance Armstrong (three years, $33 million) and Dante Fowler Jr. (one year, $3.25 million) walk in free agency, and both followed former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to the Washington Commanders where he was hired as the head coach.

Quinn formed close bonds with Mike McCarthy, Micah Parsons and other Cowboys players during his three seasons in Dallas.
