The renewable-energy arm of state-controlled power company NTPC raised 100 billion rupees in the offering.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd saw its shares rise nearly 5% on the second day of trading, closing at Rs 127.75 on the BSE. The company, a renewable energy unit of NTPC, ended with a premium of 13% over its issue price.

Delhi-based NTPC Green Energy is selling its shares in the price band of Rs 102-108 apiece. Investors can apply for a minimum of 138 shares and its multiples thereafter.

NTPC Green Energy IPO Allotment Status Today: NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) shares made a marginal higher debut on Wednesday, listing at a 3 per cent premium over the initial public offering (IPO) offer price of Rs 108 per share, on bourses.

The company received a total of Rs 15,406 crore from investors. The retail investors bid for 293 million shares against 81.48 million shares.
