Puget Sound Energy pushes back power restoration times due to severe storm damage
As of 7:35 p.m. on Friday, PSE reported 1,269 active outages, leaving 100,087 customers without power. PSE added that 143 line crews were “working around the clock” to restore power to residents, saying that much of the work repairing the high-voltage transmission system “takes place in hard-to-reach, remote parts of western Washington.”
Tens of thousands of people remained without power in the Seattle area Saturday morning after several days in the dark.
