Reed Sheppard earned plenty of praise after dazzling with the Rockets in summer league, and received another compliment on Wednesday.

It’s not yet clear if Sheppard will immediately be in the playing rotation for head coach Ime Udoka, but his shooting and playmaking quickly turned heads at the NBA’s 2024 summer league in Las Vegas — and it sounds as if it’s also happening in those private workouts, as well.

Predictions will be made about the season, too, and, for the Rockets, rookie guard Reed Sheppard is the most likely to win an award out of any player on the roster. Sheppard's Rookie of the Year campaign will certainly be an interesting one to follow,
