Ryanair threatens to cut services to 10 French regional airports if the government proceeds with a proposed passenger tax hike

Low-cost airline Ryanair threatened Wednesday to stop serving 10 French regional airports if the government goes forward with a proposed tax hike.

News of the potential cuts could spell trouble for those travelling to and from a particular European country.

Ryanair currently operates at 22 smaller French regional airports, but says this will be cut by nearly 50% if ticket taxes are raised.
