A&E Television Networks and Lifetime Entertainment Services have brought a counterclaim against Wendy Williams' guardian Sabrina Morrissey.

A&E has countersued Wendy Williams’ guardian Sabrina Morrissey amid the ongoing legal battle over the controversial Lifetime documentary about the former talk show host.

In the complaint, Morrissey says that the contracts Williams may have signed, including an “on-camera talent agreement,” are invalid because they were not shared with her guardian. The filming for the documentary began in August 2022 and ended in April 2023 — one month before Williams’s initial diagnosis.
