Jake Paul’s promotions company says the fighter's unanimous decision over Mike Tyson was the highest-grossing combat sports event in Texas at $18.1 million.

Most Valuable Promotions released a statement on Monday addressing the credibility of the fight that took place in Arlington earlier this month.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that "contestants who are age 36 or older, must submit a report of favorable physical testing."

The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson bout recently sparked widespread conversation and debate, and they have now been handed suspensions. Held in Dallas, the event highlighted the unique pairing of fighters from vastly different eras in an intense eight-round bout.

Now MVP, Paul’s boxing promotion, has released a statement calling those claims “incorrect and baseless”, and saying their “wide circulation” has “undermine[d] the int
