WASHINGTON — The United States Postal Service announced a temporary suspension of international mail services to Canada because of the ongoing national strike by Canadian postal workers.

Canada Post has confirmed that it has been temporarily laying off workers as the labour action by more than 55,000 workers approaches the two-week mark.
