Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos has joined Fenerbahce on a 3-1/2-year deal, the Turkish Super Lig side said on Thursday.

Turkish side Fenerbahce have agreed a deal with Aston Villa to sign centre-back Diego Carlos. The Brazilian, who joined Villa from Sevilla in 2022, confirmed on social media on Tuesday he was on his way to Istanbul. Fenerbahce are reportedly paying 10m euros (£8.45m) for the 31-year-old.
