Aryna Sabalenka trailed by a set, then twice was down a break in the third before grabbing the last three games to reach the Wimbledon semifinals by overcoming 104th-ranked Laura Siegemund 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 at Centre Court on Tuesday.

Aryna Sabalenka completed a hard-fought comeback against Laura Siegmund to avoid elimination and move on to the semifinals at Wimbledon. The pair met at center court on Tuesday morning as Siegmund looked for another upset win after eliminating Madison Keys in the third round.

Aryna Sabalenka displayed frustration and anguish but battled back from a set down to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals. The world No1 appeared close to crashing out of the Championships at multiple occasions at the hands of the unseeded 37-year-old Laura Siegemund but won 4-6 6-2 6-4 in a fraught encounter on Centre Court.
