Falmer Stadium hosted European football for the first time on 21 September 2023 when Brighton played against AEK in the UEFA Europa League. The stadium was designed to allow hosting for other sports and events. It hosted some matches from the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

Park & Ride 2, BN2 9XZ (Brighton Racecourse), has 700 spaces available and usually takes 20 minutes to arrive at the stadium. Follow A23/London Road south towards the city centre, after 2.9 miles turn left with the one-way system (the fire station on your left).
