Specifically the way they use the resistor mod like on the DGT so the volume drop is less severe and it remains semi humbucking. The 594 Semi Hollow I have has excellent coil splits.

The guy who owns the company, Bob Shade, used to work with Semie Moseley years ago, as well as Joe Hall and Bill Gruggett, and knows those guitars inside and out. The prices are totally reasonable, and he'll even custom paint one for you for an extra fee.
