Feb 19, 2023 · Try right clicking on the ExE/application icon, go to "Properties", then click "Compatibility", check "run in compatibility mode" and try Windows XP, or Windows 98 first to see if it works. If not try the others. Might work for you, might not. Worth a try.

Jan 30, 2020 · NASCAR Racing, 2, 1999 Edition, etc. can be played through DOSBox on stuff like PC, Mac, Android/iOS, etc. It's emulation but it at least allows for future compatibility. NASCAR Racing 3 and forward can still be played like normal though with a few modifications or none at all (just installed NASCAR Racing 4 on my Windows 10 laptop with no issue).

Mar 6, 2023 · To approximate the more spread out SS racing, take the *race.lp files from NR4 and place them in the appropriate NR2003 track. Eg take Daytona min/max/race lp file and replace those same lp files in NR03. You don't need to touch the track.ini. I recommend using ratings with some spread (try mine).

Jan 21, 2021 · If the issue is the game jumping all over the place in the FPS counter and lagging like hell, then either the 2004 Update or the 20H2 Update to Windows 10 broke NR. Just updated windows. NR2003 running just fine. Make sure your NOCD is 3.7MB and NOT 5.4MB. GOOGLE - HOBO RACING NO CD WIN7.

May 10, 2023 · I switched over to windows 11 over a year ago, but recently my nr2003 install seems to be having issues. The game runs so slow that it's unusable. I get unresponsive menus and it started doing this around a month ago. I have the 4GB patch installed. Windows 11 works perfect out of the box for me.

Apr 27, 2021 · After you uninstall , go to your game folder and delete everything thats left out of there. Also you must place NOCD in your c/papyrus/nr2003 game folder, you cant run NOCD from desktop. Hmmm whatelse .... best way to try another PC to test for sure.
