Jun 12, 2011 · Crockett and Jones - several models and lasts; without question, the worst fitting shoe that I have ever tried on. Even in a B width, I thought that I was going to break my neck from heel slippage. Church's 002 last - it was average, but nothing special. I was also not impressed with the construction quality relative to price.

Jul 19, 2011 · Hugo boss are fused suits with a fashiony fit- for that fit, which isn't as unique as they claim these days, you're paying a significant markup for a fused suit. $550 isn't too bad for one though, but at $800 with the quality of a $200 suit it's really an issue. But hey, if it fits, enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Rarely have I seen anything even remotely elegant from HB. I have managed to get proper Goodyear welted shoes from AE at similar prices.

Dec 27, 2010 · Ecco are much more comfortable for walking, though. The leather is much worse quality than AE or even the lesser English shoes, much less the SF favorites. But, compared to leather soled and stacked heel shoes, the soft rubber-like heels and soles are very comfortable on the feet and back and they last a long time.

May 14, 2019 · Based on your description of your other shoes, you may find your true sizes to be more like a 10.5 when measured. However, as said above, measured shoe size is just a guideline and actual shoe size will depend on the last and therefore should be chosen based on comfort.

Apr 24, 2016 · Many of the lasts run shorter but also much more full, so depending upon your personal 65-last fit, you may be able to go with the same size in a shorter last such as the 511 or 1757 and still get by, because even though the length is shorter, the toe box is so much more full you still have sufficient space up front.

Jun 2, 2007 · My Santoni Brenden 10D is a full 4.5" in width and 12.4 inches in length, which is like an AE 10.5E. That is much wider than Allan Edmonds, Bruno Magli, Church's or Alden 10D, with AE being the second widest. Try the Santoni. Their D really fits like an E. My next pair will be 9.5D, which will fit like a 9.5E.
