Since it is the holiday season and we're all celebrating, I thought I'd pull out this clip from the Monkees TV show...the original one, not the terrible reboot from the late 80s. Although the Monkees started out at the beginning of GenX in the late 60s, all of us real 80s kids grew up watching the show as youngsters in the 70s and then all through the 80s in reruns. I mean, the younger generations don't realize that GenX and 80s kids grew up on reruns

Retro Rewind TV: The Candy Man! Planes Trains And Automobiles was a fantastic flick. While Steve Martin was the headliner, his co-star, John Candy, really stole the film. To be honest, Candy made every film he was in better, regardless of how big his role in it was. It's also crazy how that out of every 80s movie stars, John Candy is one of examples of a celebrity with no bad stories and zero scandals. That just shows what a great guy he was on and off the screen. Who doesn't love some Candy?! W
